We are free in a limited sense. There are always going to be limits and restrictions on conduct, because that's necessary for the functioning of any society.

The question is how many restrictions do we need. Do we need the govt registering people who want to drive a car, or walk down the street. Do we need the govt mandating that everyone must have auto insurance, or home insurance, or medical insurance. Do we need the govt tracking every purchase we make and every book we take out of the library. Do we need the govt to punish us for not wearing our seat belts, and for eating too much junk food.

The system has evolved to the point where people are not expected to be accountable for their choices, because the govt tells us what to do and what to say and where to go and how to live. It's insane. And it's time for a change.

Think freedom. Vote libertarian.
