I found a list and the going rate for some years (like 1992) for a bottle is $52.00, but I can't seem to find any sellers. I have always wanted to try dom perignon, but don't want to spend too much. Does anyone knows where I can find a bottle for under 100 and get it delivered to Canada?

I just saw a bottle of Dom in Costco. Don't remember the vintage, but it was under $100. Probably not a very good one...

Veuve is better, IMHO.

You can't find the current release (1998 vintage) anywhere for under 100$. Retailers can't even buy it for that price.

You may be able to find older, less deisrable vintages on auction sites, but caveat emptor.

My advice is to try some non vintage champagnes and see if you like them. Unless you've got a really developed pallate, you won't be able to pick all the nuances out of Dom anyway. Try the Nicolas Fuillate NV Brut and Brut Rose. They should retail for about 40$US.
