Don't hint, just tell him. Attraction, dating, etc. is all complicated enough without being upfront and honest. Subtle hints may not work and you are just wasting time you two could be spending together.

just kinda flirt a little, don't come on too strong, but don't just act like you're being really friendly. If he a good friend, try to find out how he feels and then maybe tell him. until then, just don't do anything you'll regret, like spill your heart out to him. then nothing will happen, except make yourself look like a total idiot and ruin the friendship.

if or when a silent moment comes up in a conversation then lay your head on his shoulde...be you and if your interested then it should come naturally
