Actually it is The second-largest religion in the world after Christianity, Islam is also the fastest-growing religion. In the United States, for example, nearly 80 percent of the more than 1,200 mosques have been built in the past 12 years.
Some scholars see an emerging Muslim renaissance as Islam takes root in many traditionally Christian communities.
Islam has drawn converts from all walks of life, most notably African-Americans. Former NAACP President Benjamin Chavis, who joined the Nation of Islam recently, personifies the trend.
"In societies where you have minorities that are discriminated against, I think they may find an appeal in Islam," said Waleed Kazziha of American University in Cairo.
Many moderate Islamic countries such as Turkey and Egypt are becoming more conservative.
Two decades ago, few middle-class Egyptian women wore scarves or veils on their heads. Now they crowd into special emporiums that advertise Islamic clothing.
The shift toward Islamic fundamentalism worries many in the secular world, a fear underscored when splinter groups target Westerners with violent attacks.
and of course everyone is allow to be Muslim what ever he has done

Islam is not the fastest growing it is Wicca, Islam was the fastest growing religion in the USA up until 1989... since then other religious groups have grown at a faster rate percentage wise.
Muslims are leaving Islam - there are more Muslims leaving Islam than new converts join in.
In the US, Islam is growing mainly by immigration, and high birth rate among Muslims. In the US most new converts leave Islam within a few years.

simply because when Christians of this country become disillusioned with what they have been told was the truth, and they become old enough to think for themselves they do just that.they think and question and then contemplate.i mean does anyone really believe that millions of Christians that were once sane and lovely individuals suddenly become mad, insane with the devil?do they honestly think that nuns, bishops, teachers, lawyers, policemen from all walks of their society, out of the blue they all simultaneously fell victim to the magic of Muslims?no, indeed not.these are people who simply have recognized the truth when it reached them.and hold on tight. many more will grow up.they will be disillusioned too.and Islam will be there to fill their void.

of course you are allowed to convert to the religion of truth!!!
study Islam and find out for yourself what it's all about!
basically if you are a christian and wanna convert! consider yourself evolving from one spiritual stage to another!!
Islam is Christianity/Judaism same God, same Prophets, same Message!
with some clarifications to the misunderstood things with Judaism and Christianity that has been altered by the early church!!!
do your home work and learn about Islam and God's willing you will find the right path!!!!
peace be with you sis!!!

coz people who follow Islam are staunch and aim to take over the world someday. They offer free education, food, support, charity to their fellow Muslims and they are never callouse about their religion like most other people
It is true that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. Its the largest minority relgion. which means its only second to christainity. its spread out in US, UK, middle east, Africa, Asia. So many countries all over the world are Islamic. such as UAE, indonesia, pakistan, afghanistan etc.
a popular way in which they have succeeded in expanding is by offering food, shelter, support, charity etc to the poor people in under developed countries and inviting them to convert thereby.
there quick rate of expansion, their unity and there regious fanatism should be source of concern to all around the world

Islam is the very nature of man. It is the religion and the path chosen by Almighty Allah for mankind so that they may gain happiness in this life and Paradise in the next life. Islam is not a religion in the common and distorted sense, for it does not confine its scope to one's private life. It is a complete way of life and is present in every field of human existence. Islam provides guidance for all aspects of life—individual and social, material and moral, economic and political, legal and cultural, and national and international. The teachings of Islam are simple and intelligible.
At the moral level, Islam teaches us to be truthful, honest, just, compassionate, virtuous; to shun all evils; to be ever bent on doing good deeds while sparing others of any harm or injury. Stated differently, it teaches us to think right, speak right, and act righteously.
At the spiritual level, Islam teaches cultivation of mindfulness of God—being grateful to Him, patient in adversity, and content with His decree and ever willing to make our will conform to His will.

It's an interesting religion whose tenets aren't all that different from Christianity, really--all comes from the same god, after all. I don't know too much about it, by my significant other was taking classes and seriously considering converting for a while.
