How come Jesus, and Bible and God and Sin and other Christian stuff shows up in so many questions and SO many answers? Don't bible readers have anything better to do than hang around and apply sin status to actions named in here - and affix Jesus and God and the Bible to everything in their answers?

I posted this question in the Spirituality and Religion question because that is the context of the question. The answers Im referring to appear everywhere, however. Someone asks about a nude beach, or a television show and the answer invariably involved Jesus or the Bible. My question is in the right place. Your answers are not.

There was a question earlier asking how we as a society could create Heaven on earth. It could never happen because of people like you, people that detest the faithful. Why is it that when people die, God becomes their best friend? September 11th was a very religious day for most, was it not?

Sure, I see where you're coming from. So many talk the talk but how many actually walk it? Very few i'm sure. I try to do a little bit of both. But I believe in God, i hope for the best. Catholics, Christians, Jews, Islams, They all do. We're so far from perfect, all of us. But we hope. Only to be mocked and criticized by people such as yourself. That's the devil's intention.

Hope I answered your question.

Spreading the Word of God is one of the duties as a Christian...and even if one person can look beyond all the perverse, blasphemous questions and answers here, and then realize that Jesus Christ is the answer to salvation, then i think that is wonderful. Some Christians may use this as a way of witnessing, and there's nothing wrong with that. I do believe that there are some who go about it the wrong way, and sometimes people think that ALL Christians are like that. Me, i am saddened by unbelievers because i don't like that thought of ANYONE spending an eternity in Hell.

This is Religion and Spirituality section isn't it. Christianity and the Bible is a Religion, God, Jesus, are spiritual, and sin is of this world. So, where else would we be, this seems a really great place to spread the word of God to me. I can think of no better time spent than talking about God.

what is this section called hmmmmm
religion and spirituality duhhh.
christian are both (even though some do take it to far). we have a right to be in here too. don't YOU have anything better to do that slam them. we can say what the bible says because that is what we believe, no different than a none bible believer can say what they believe. if you don't like it. why are you in here yourself. if you don't like the bible answered commits put a dumbs down, if you don't like the biblical based questions , don't answer them. if you don't like Christians, leave them alone instead of showing hate.

Assuming most people on here are Westerners, they've likely been versed in Western thought--whether actually religious or not, whether actually believers or not, we are surrounded by the concepts of sin and the themes of sacrifice and redemption. These ideas are how our society functions.

i agree. i'd love the Christians to be a lil more tolerant, accpeting and open towards other religions too. how come they never try to come out of their pre conceived notions of other religions or just ask more questions??

p.s im a Hindu

We are people too, we have opinion just like you. Why ask a question if you are not open to answers? This is open to all if you want closed answers maybe you should open your own webpage. God Bless!

Here on YA there are so many catagories...but you chose to be in this one...we, as Christians, are going to stand up for who/what we believe in...so if you dont like it, I guess you could always go to a different section.
