Every story I've ever seen about anorexics show that they are just attention seekers. Don.t want to eat? Then don.t! People in poor countries will send one of their starving children to take your place. Get a life and enjoy it.

Food is power - not eating food is power.

Many anorexics do not use food or lack of food as a power trip. Many of them have legitimate emotional and mental issues which results in them not eating.

I think this question is border line abusive, but talk to a few anorexics first befor jumping the gun and calling them attention seekers.

You are completely wrong! I have no respect for you or anyone that thinks the same way as you. You cant try to understand something if you dont experience it first hand! I did, and it is a mental condition that usually has an underlying issue, you need to get your facts straight and maybe research this issue before putting it on a public forum! People like you are idiots.

anorexia is a very serious disease and if you research it, it will show that it isn't about attention, it is about control. They tend to be perfectionists and have such hectic lives that food and their weight is the one thing that they can perfectly control. IF you are going to think negatively on individuals with eating disorders compared to ones with lack of food resources, then why not equally compare to overweight individuals for consuming more than their fair share??? Your point is idiotic and I am sorry to have to say that. Research your complaint next time so you don't seem so ignorant.

Whether that is true or not, unfortunately, seeking attention to the detriment of your health is still a sickness. People have died from anorexia, not to mention completely ruined their health. There are people who make suicide attempts to get attention...and sometimes they are successful...at dying I mean, not getting the attention.

"Get a life and enjoy it" is wonderful advice, but sometimes people need professional help getting to the point where they can follow it.

Why do you feel the need to post something like this, just stay out of their business...too bad they can't be as perfect or as lucky as you...and that girl is right, you need to get a grip on yourself and stop trying to get attention on here...its rediculous.

We all have our own problems but some of us need the help of others to get over them.

Thankfully I'm quite self sufficient in that area.

Ignorant, unsympathetic and shouting about it.
You couldn't be seeking attention by any chance could you?...

You have sauce on your chin...
