How do you "get repentance?"

Repent, in Biblical terms, it is a translation of "metanoeo" which is defined: to repent, to change any or all of the elements composing one's life: attitude, thoughts, and behaviors concerning the demands of God for right living.

It is something you do, not something you can "get."

If an action of that person led to the divorce, then there is something to be forgiven:
James 5:15 The prayer offered by those who have faith will make you well. The Lord will heal you. If you have sinned, you will be forgiven. 16 So admit to one another that you have sinned. Pray for one another so that you might be healed. The prayer of a godly person is powerful. It makes things happen.

An outside source cannot cause a divorce. Only the persons in the marriage can do that. If you feel guilt for your part, you should pray and repent for it. Look closely at your actions, and dtermine if your actions contributed to another persons marriage failing. If you feel it has, then pray for forgiveness and vow to not repeat these behaviors. Everyone needs to respect the sancitity of marriage, and should avoid the breakdown of a marriage. People need to work harder at staying married.

It is always a good idea to get a lawyer to represent you. You never know who has what up there sleeve to mess the other one over. Even if you both agree lawyers are not needed, one of the persons always ends up getting a lawyer and you could be the one in trouble. Better to spend a little money now to avoid having to pay a lot later.

Everyone needs repentence. This is a sin that is bad in human terms, but all sin condemns people.

She needs to repent just as every person needs to.

Geeze, never mind Sars, Aids, or Bird Flew, for what's obviously going to and fro the earth these days of the third day shewdown is Law Law; And such Law Law seems to have infected billions, getting them so "high" they ask all sorts of Law Law questions.

Did God send his Son to condemn(law) anyone in John 3:16? No! Would the Son of God accuse anyone at all in John 5:45? No! Did the Son of God even accuse or condemn the woman caught in adult-ery and brought unto him in John 8:3-11? No! Did that God in Christ reconciling the world unto himself impute any trespasses to them in 2Cor 5:19? No! Why not? Perhaps because law imputed sin to any makes sinners all, none righteous, no, not one. God is one. We are all one. And it's not "one proselyte", not if "we are delivered from the law".

Hell-o! is anyone there, or am I talking into a vacuum?

Our Father, deliver us from evil: Mt 6
We are delivered from the law: Rom 7

In Christ: the Saviour of the world
In Christ: the author of eternal salvation
In Christ: our peace who abolished law
In Christ: the end of law(sin, death, hell)
- there is no law
- hence there is no (law imputed) sin
- hence no death sting of law imputed sin
- hence no hell following such Death rider

The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Depends on the reason for the divorce. And it's also between God and that person.

That person is equally guilty. I don't believe in hell, but a lawyer could fix that person's booty.
