Rude? Yes...but you're writing about "consideration", which most folks DON'T have - especially behind the wheel of a car.
Human nature - and the way we train people to think that a license is a RIGHT and not a PRIVILEGE - big difference here as compared to most of Europe.

Did you take into consideration that the person may be lost and is not quite sure of the area and they are trying to get their bearings?I am a truck driver and see rude drivers 15 hrs a day..,to me rude is people passing on the shoulder of the road, people not yielding to highway traffic, people moving in and out of traffic on a busy highway with no use of signals and moving 80mph,not only is it rude..,that is stupidity..,,quick way to end a life. But yes..,if someone is waiting for a parking space and holding up traffic etc that is rude..,Its this wonderful society we have now.Its all about me and the hell with other people.

I have to agree with dawn the trucker. Except for when I'm waiting for a parking space that took me 15min. to find. Don't drive down the aisle if you see a car like me waiting. Go down the next aisle or try being patient like me. Now there's a concept...patience! Definitely something a lot of drivers could learn. But everyone is in such a hurry these days. Spend less time in the bathroom primping yourself and you won't have to speed to get where you're going. Or if you're a really impatient person and you have to sit and wait, talk on your cell. You know you do it when you shouldn't be anyways.

You betcha it's rude! And dangerous.
I hate making mistakes too and I seem to make a lot of them but you won't see me slamming on the brakes and doing some crazy, last second U-turn or anything. No, I may curse and grit my teeth but I keep doing what I am doing and quickly plan a recovery... one that others can expect and see what I am doing.
In my way of thinking, this is part of defensive driving techniques. Let's hope more will start thinking this way... don't hold your breath.

Annoying true but consider driving in the majority of europe, the people behind will do anything up to the point of slamming u off the road to get you out of their way especially Germany's world famous auto bahn! For even bigger mayhem try venturing into Russia, australia

Those people are self centered and inconsiderate when they are out of their car, as well.
