Isa 65:17 "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things shall not be remembered or come to mind.
This is also why you won't be sad that your mother or people didn't make it.
Isa 66:22 "For just as the new heavens and the new earth Which I make will endure before Me," declares the LORD, "So your offspring and your name will endure.
2 Pet 3:13 But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

I suggest reading the book of Revelation.
It is referring to the time after judgement when all will pass away and there will be a new heaven and a new earth (1 in the same because God will live umungst his people). revelation chapter 21 deals with this.

First, remember that world does not mean the planet, it means people. It only refers to the planet as a slang term in modern times.
New world are people who look to God and Christ, instead of humans, as their rulers. They don't involve themselves in human forms of government, as God has said he intends to destroy them. After Armageddon, these new people with everlasting life will spend 1000 years converting the planet back into a paradise, than begin working on the other planets in the universe.
