The best product IMHO is Nature's Miracle. You can get it at Petsmart and other places. Buy the BIG jug. Wet the area (carpet, upholstery etc.) thoroughly and allow to dry. While the stuff is drying, there will still be an odor...if you live in a humid climate, this could take a while. But once it's dry, voila, no more smell or stain. Works on blood and grass stains, and other organic ones, too.

I haven't tried this but heard if you use a black light, it will show areas that have been peed on. If you're trying to cover old stains, that might be a good way to find them.

Good luck!

The simplest way is to clean the area with a solution of biological washing powder and water. The enzymes in the washing powder break down the urine and the dog can no longer smell it.

You should always clean any area where the dog has urinated inside the house in this way because dogs are attracted to where they can smell they have peed before and will keep going in the same place until the smell is removed.

at my house (I have 2 dogs) we buy sprays that smell really good. Try that. If you dont like any of the smells then heres what you can. If you dont have carpet, mop the floor. When you do be sure to pour vinegar on the floor. And if you do have carpet, stick with the spray. But what ever you do, dont get rid of the dog! Once a dog is in a place for more then 4 or 5 weeks, then goes somewhere else, it wont be happy. If you care about dogs as much as I do, you will listen to me

Read one of the Dog Paper adverts - there are a number of deodorant sprays on the market which will also reduce the number of accidents as dogs tend to urinate on spots where they've been before. Removing the smell will help.

The best thing to use is a cleaner that has a enzymatic cleanser in it. This will break down all of the enzymes in the urine. An AWESOME one to try is Mr. Mister's Anti-Icky Poo. My old clinic sold it and it worked great. I know that you can find it online. A professor up at the veterinary school at UC Davis created it. Good luck

Get rid of your dog.

Edit: Sorry, that's an annoying smartass answer. I'm not sure what products are good for this - but if your dog is urinating all over the place it's probably marking territory, and wouldn't do so if you had it neutered, so if you haven't done so already that'd be my advice.
