Are there any great yoga videos you recommend? I'm curious because I'd like to start a yoga workout and it would be easier to do it at home rather than go to a class. Much appreciated.

I don't have time for a class. Too much going on.

Try Yoga Journal's Yoga for Beginners and Yoga for Beginners 2 with Patricia Walden. They both offer clear step-by-step instructions and a booklet explaining each pose. Since Particia Walden is Iyengar-trained, she uses props such as chairs, belts and cushions for inflexible people to come into the pose with more ease. While they are both excellent DVD's, you might want to try the newer one (Yoga for Beginners 2) since it has a more beautiful production of music and scenic background.

Try Rodney Yee if you want to go the video route. He's a very well established Yogi.
But I'd suggest a class in the gym or studio. The reason why I'd suggest a class is because there are times when just following the direction on the video may not bring you to your best position and videos don't necessarily teach you how to breathe.
If you get a very good instructor, they will teach you to breath properly. Breathing is really essential in yoga. It's pretty much the bread and butter of yoga - it is the thread that links the fabric of each pose to the next.
A video is a good place to start but after a while, you're doing the same thing all the time, you might get bored. Thus is human nature.
Have fun!

It would be better to start by taking a course so the instructor can correct your poses. It can be difficult to tell if you are in the right position trying to follow a video
