Just like windows start-up?
I have a 1GB memory stick with limewire, msn, and firefox installed which i use when im not at home and it's not possible to download these applications. (I don't like firefox, i would rather have internet explorer 7 beta 3 but it takes up to much space.)

Only if you create autorun.ini file and put it on memory stick.

Yes, If you make the ram disk bootable and create a batch file to run the programs, I have formatted a ramdisk and made it bootable. The Bios also has to allow booting from usb.

Just access the usb drive and run the apps for install - its easy!

on some new motherboards there are options to boot from usb,enable this to boot from usb,and in theory you could take a operating system round to your mates and use it on his p.c
people allready do this with linux
