Ah..you can argue specifics, but good nutrition means eating what your body needs. This means primarily nutrient dense food in an appropriate quantity. Not too much, not too little. If you have a good diet, you don't need vitamin supplements.
A good diet includes:
- quality protein sources (meats, eggs, cheese, fish, poultry, nuts, peanut butter, soy and a few other non-meat protein sources)
- Lots of fruits and vegetables. You should get at least 5 veges a day and optimal would be 7-10 servings a day of fruit and veges.
- only high quality carbohydrates - this would include fruits and vegetables, but also whole grains (not white bread or rice, or food made from these).
- dairy or for those who are vegan, other dietary sources of calcium
- water - at least 8 cups a day
What it wouldn't include is high fructose corn syrup (which is most sweetened products) or trans fats (both of which are very bad for you), and junk food would be a very small percentage of what you consume.
This way your body gets what it needs to function as well as it is intended to, and would minimize the chance of getting all those wicked diseases that are often nutrition based, such as diabetes, cancer and heart disease.
Eating healthy foods, and keeping junk to a minimum also helps you age more gracefully. People who eat well look better and get sick less.

Everyone has their own opinion as far as "good nutrition".Good nutrition is,what tastes good to you. If it's not affecting you in a negative way, don't worry yourself. Who came up with the nutrition chart anyway? Who's to say that's right? We may be being taught the wrong nutrition values.Who's to say?

Good nutrition is getting all your necessary vitamins and minerals, and limiting processed and sweet foods. Basically, it's eating a balanced diet (a little bit of everything), but in moderation (a LITTLE BIT of everything, not too much.)
