Endodontist are root canal specialists and i have never heard of one doing braces. Orthodontists are specially trained to do braces. It is not wise to go to any doctor who doesn't specialize in what they do and in this case your jaw and bite could be ruined, not to mention the fact that braces are quite expensive so why would you want to go to someone who may not do the best job possible.

Since he's not a specialist in orthodontics, the only braces he can give you is Invisalign, which costs a pretty penny, can only be worn by people who have very slight malocclusions and doesn't work as effectively as metal braces.

To get the most out of your money, go to an orthodontist who has the proper training and experience to do the job right.

An orthodontist specializes in things like root canals and some oral surgery, he is not capable of putting on braces, unless he specializes in both.

I don't know. I do know of a dental discount program that can make the cost much less expensive. Go here and check it out.
