I'd take her to the vet to be on the safe side, or at least call and get his opinion. The swollen mouth and neck could be signs of an allergic reaction to the bee sting, as could be the drowsiness. Other signs of allergy include rubbing the muzzle, constant scratching, and difficulty breathing.

I hope she gets better soon.

Watch to make sure that her airway is always open, and go buy a liquid Antihistamine and give her a 1/4 of a teaspoon every four hours and see if this will help. Of course the vet would be the best option, but if you can't get to one or if your funds are not flowing try the Antihistamine for the next twelve hours..... A half of a baby aspirin might not be such a bad idea either.

dear parent of coronita,
Try icing the area,if you can remove the bee sting; you have completed step one. Next apply beta dine, when it dries add an antibiotic ointment. It would of course be a good idea to apply gauze, then vet tape. If there is a weeping from the injury, see the vet. Also if cornita has trouble eating or any other difficulties.

I would take her to the vet just to be on the safe side. You never know what could be going on inside her body as a result of being stung. Letting the vet check her out sure won't hurt anything. Maybe they can give her some medicine to treat the sting and make her feel better. You have to take her and at least get her checked out. You owe her that as a responsible dog owner.

Get your dog to the vet ASAP!!! Many dogs are highly allergic to bee stings, and it sounds like yours is one of them. Please, don't waste time..............take her to the vet...........
