Get with your girlfriends, go as a huge group to the mall and shop for clothes, makeup and othe girl stuff. Then you and the gang return home and try out tips to look hotter.
Then, as a newly formed hottie, walk around school and be yourself: they boys will surely take notice.

OK well be Friend with a guy. At my school we are all friends well most but just go up to someone you feel comfortable with and start up a conversation about something he like and try to not be nervous just be yourself. which can be hard to do around guys. but just have fun and go with a friend to talk to the guy so you have some there with you then it can be so much fun. we started to play slaps it was awesome we always gather in groups and just talk and gossip and just have fun.

I used to get that when I was younger. Just think to yourself. Which would make you more upset. Not asking and not going to the dance, or asking and having fun at the dance.

the exact same thing happens 2 me ur totally not alone!! =] but yea just sorta talk 2 them like thier one of ur girl freinds and ne acess flirting can't hur teither thaz wut i do and if i get 2 nervous i make up an excuse 2 leave the scene such as i gotta pee i will be rite back!! so try it best of luck hope u get a date 2 ur dance ;]

Wow.. Thats a hard question to answer. Guy's would just go for girls naturally. You gotta be yourself, that's what I can say. Also.. Most guys dont go for extremely preppy girls.. But it all depends on what guy you want.
