Because viewed from space they look like any other small blotches or mole hills. It's the interconnecting runs that really get me scratching.

Just guessing....it get's part of the name from "molecule". Most molecules are small,and black.Molecules can tell you alot of history about certain things,just as a mole can tell one about his/her history. Whether it be health wise,or biologically.You say you have loads of em'? You just have alot of history you're unaware of,don't fix it,if it aint broke.

the scientific term for them is nevi. they dont much look like nevi's too me so i call 'em moles. i have one on my cheek :-(
