Is there a possibility of finishing your schools where he is? Or maybe delaying education further down the road
Hugs from a Loving Mom to a Brillant, as well as beautiful 8 year old Jared and Our Angel, Zachary (taken to soon but who will always remain in our heart) ~ Mel

You do it the same way you got yourself to the other country. Apply for a passport and/or a visa for your son in his country of origin. From there you will have to consult british law about permanent residency. Assuming the birth certificate says you are mom, there should not be a lot of difficulty with getting your minor son permission to live with you in your country of origin. Start with the british consulate in your son's birth country. They should know the laws applicable to both countries.

is it the case that your mum will not allow you to bring him Back? if your name is on his birth certificate, and there are no social service or court interventions, there should be no problem in bringing him home? As long as you have a safe place to bring him back to.. The best thing to do, if you are worried about the legitimacy of the law and bring a child back into the country - would be to check with the home office.. The very best of luck.. You could also go to a local law centre or citizens advice as well.
Dont loose your little one, could can finish your education later, even as a mature student.

Hi,
Did you let the father go on the birth certificate, my sister lived in Mexico and was married to aman over there, she had to have permission from her husband to get him out of the country, some how though she didn't, she planned everything and somehow she got over here England without it.
It depends on were you live seek legal advice but first get your son a passport

Buy him a plane ticket & fly him over to you. Or you could just move to that other country. You could get citizenship if your son live there. Children are more important than anything. I would give up all of my limbs if it meant being close to my child and watching her grow & learn. I don't think anyone could pay me enough to live my daughter.

It depends where the father is and what nationality he is, because he has rights too even if you aren't married.
Why did you leave him with your mom to continue your studies? I am a mother who is working full time and doing a degree part time, it can be done.
