i heard if you grill donuts, it will be less calories?

Yeah, Good one. What some people think up. First of all, a doughnut is a tube of batter placed into hot cooking oil and then fried. So the fat and calories are already there. There is no way to grill a doughnut before it has been placed in the oil.
Grilling it will leave pretty little grill lines, though.

Probably a few less calories, but remember we're talking "dough nuts" what is the purpose of eating dough nuts and counting calories???????

Yeah, it's the same if you eat upside down...the calories have no where to go so they fall out as you eat!
