She's probably afraid to go out to the bathroom. Is there someone else in the household that might frighten her on her way to and from the bathroom? Talk to her about it.

I can honestly say that i used to do the same when i was growing up except the trash can thing. and no i'm not embarrased to say this and i know if i tell my friends they'll tell me they used to do weird things when they were younger too! But yea I used to do the same.. Yea sick huh? No i didn't get abused no I didn't have a bladder problem and No i don't think I was metally challenged either. Nobody told me anything so i kept doing it lol.. I don't know lol.. it was a bad habit you can say. I was a child and I didn't know that it was a BAD thing to do and i figured why not pee here if i'm already in my room. ha. I wasn't hurting anyone, I wasn't killing anyone so I figured it wasn't a bad thing. You need to stop her now that's she's young before she grows up doing this. Just tell her not pee there . Just tell her that it's bad for her and it's not good to dirty the carpet and to use the bathroom because that's why there's a bathroom in the house(please be nice to her when you tell her this though). If you don't tell her anything she's going to keep doing it. I totally forgot that I used to do that though.... thanx for reminding me lol. So yea .. just talk to her and if it continues try to tell her you'll embarrase her in front of all her friends by bringing them into her room which smells bad lol.. or sumthing My mom told me that and I seriously stoped. She also told me that it wasn't good for the carpet and the smell and to use the bathroom.... Goodluck ! But please try to fix this problem because she's young and i don't think she wants to do this when she gets older! OH and try to ask her why she's doing that 1st...maybe there is something happening you never know... communication is good though:) Let her know that she can trust you and you'll be good. Oh and it could possibly be that she can't hold it on time and she goes in her room...i don't know ask her she'll let you know if she trusts you. Goodluck once again! and don't worry i grew up fine. I'm not mentally challenged.

Is this something that just started or has the child been doing it all along? If it just started then it seems as though he is regressing, and children usally do this because something is bothering them, or there has been a big change in their lives. A divorce? New sibling? Being picked on at school? ect.... Get to the heart of the matter.

The flips and flops in each and every single place whilst she sleeps with us. while you're satisfied that way then decide for it, yet i understand from observing Supernanny like each and all of the time that it fairly is not probably stable for the youngster. The longer you keep him with you, the extra stable it rather is going to be for him to sleep on his own faster or later and benefit independence. each and every relatives is diverse nevertheless. for my section having my youngster sleep with me is out of the question. i want "me" time after spending all day along with her.
