I would say a shelter or breed rescue. They are the best dogs and u get to save a life!

a golden....what? if your asking about a golden retriever then you should get it at a breeder. But if they are too expensive or you cant find a breeder then go to your local shelter and adopt a dog who really needs a home and some TLC. i hope i helped! : )

Do not purchase at a petstore unless you don't mind supporting puppy mills and possible spending thousands on a sickly puppy.
And no responsible breeders would even think of selling their puppies in classifieds.

From a responsible breeder or from a rescue.Check out the AKC site to get a listing of kennel/breed clubs in your state. Contact them and they can put you in touch with responsible breeders.

well if you are talking about animals than i whould have to say look in the classifeds in the newspaper..thats were i found my great dane..
