If the person is switching over to the Army, from the Air Force Reserves, and is 40 years old, would they accept that person?

I do believe that I read in the paper just a few weeks ago that Washington passed legislation to take people all the way up to 42 or so. It may have been 44, but I'm not sure. Go to the Army homepage and check it out. The answer would be there. Don't think you would have the same rank though. I do believe they bust you down a level or two when you switch from the Air Force to the Army. Might want to consider that before signing the paperwork. Besides you can retire, why would you re-enlist with the Army?
