I'm a guy and I wanna grow my hair long. Here's a picture of me currently:

How long should I grow it? Is there a way to cut it so it looks nice? I don't want a shaggy layer look, I want a smooth long. Luckily my hair is pretty straight. Advice/comments?

Why would you ask the same question twice? - I'm thinking that was a mistake?
I think you look adorable just the way you are, but if you are thinking about experimenting, the let it grow out.
All of this depends on the courseness and waiviness of your hair. Find a good stylist and let her/him help sculpt you. The best thing is to let it grow out for at least another month longer than you usually go without a haircut. Find a straight female or gay male stylist - they seem to be the better ones (no offense to straight male or gay female stylists).

Consider trying one of the computer programs either at home, or in a hair styling center, that you use a current photo and it shows what you would look like with various hair styles.

I say do what you want to do with your hair. If you don't like it or the response you get, you can always cut it. So what's the harm in doing something different?

Well you will have to turn gay for like a week and make friends with the preppy girls at your school.
They will know everything there is to know about straightening your hair and all that crap.
OR just read a female fashion magazine if you don't want to become homo.

gross....i guess you want the rocker look right?.......ummm i like it shaggy and crazily grown without a cut or anything. but.....do what you want! DONT SHAVE IT. or gel it up/back.
