if i build a car at home can i still get a plate number for it?

Yes. Title laws differ from state to state and you most likely will have to bring the vehicle to the DMV when you actually tag it. Document ALL mechanical and chassis component serial numbers and dates of manufacture if possible.

Yes, you can. The vehicle will have to pass your state's safety inspection first, but that is all. There have been "kit cars" being manufactured and sold for years. You might check the web and see how they get their cars licensed.

yes you can you have to send the registration forms to your local vehicle licensing authority .. your home build car should be inspected by authorized garage to pass road worthy certificate .we in England can do that .. i am sure your country do that too
