im not like fat,but id like to be thinner and diet pills is not an answer, and i play soccer 2 days a week...its so hard to eat only healthy food, but i want to drop some pounds

just eat healthy food and exercise more. Maybe cut down on some of the food you eat. But don't do anything too drastic-losing more than a pound or two a week is just losing water weight

No, diet pills is not the answer. They will give you short term weightloss but as soon as you stop using them the weight would come back.

Since it sounds as though you don't want to give up the foods you like, why not just eat smaller?

This is how you do it.
When eating foods that are good for you like vegetables, skim milk or low fat cheeses, fruits, lean meats and whole wheat breads let yourself eat as much as you like.

Now when you are tempted by a greasy burger and fries or a incredibly fattening chocolate cake cut your serving in half, and only eat half of it.
Little by little you will find yourself wanting less and less junk food. But by allowing yourself to eat some of it, you will ease your cravings and feel satisified.

One other trick. The next time you finish eating something that is considered fattening (chips, chocolate, ice cream, cake etc.) wait 2 minutes then ask yourself do I still feel good because i ate it? Was it worth the extra calories? After doing this a few times you will realize that the good feeling that you get from junk food only lasts as long as you are eating it. Once the food is gone so is the feeling.

So would you rather have 4 minutes of happiness eating that cake or feel better about yourself all the time?

After 10 or so times of asking yourself that question you will feel less tempted by junk.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
