The ones that can be harmful to liver and/or kidneys are grapes and raisins, macadamia nuts, chocolate...the onions can cause anemia, and go easy on the tomatoes, or broccoli/cabbage family..

cheddar cheese can bring an onset of pancreatitis, so stick to low fat cheeses..and artificial sweeteners are toxic to dogs..sugar or candy may cause diabetes..
Otherwise, treats in small amounts are fine for your dog..

My first dog's favourite treat was peanut butter and onion sandwiches. I indulged her once a week.

My second dog ate all the vegetables and fruit she could get her paws on. Which wasn't a problem until I tried composting my vegetable kitchen waste. I finally had to stop because she would jump on the compost pile, and consume whatever was there, until she was sick.

The vegetables won't hurt her. It's any overindulgence that will.

Don't feed grapes, raisins, chocolate, citrus fruits, macadameia nuts, or onions to dogs or cats. They can be very toxic and can cause serious problems ranging from renal failure to death.

Apples, carrots, green beans, watermelon, cantalope, pear slices, squash, pumpkin, tomato, sweet potato, cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, eggs, chicken, turkey , blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries , peanut butter are all good things to give your dog and most dogs enjoy at least some of these things.

No onions!!
No walnuts
No grapeseeds
These are toxic to dogs.

Don't worry about the onions unless he seems ill, then go to the vet immediately.

Anything else is OK. A lot may cause diarrhea.

Fruits and veggies are actually really good for dogs. The only problem is onions. They are actually bad for dogs. Feed him whatever veggies he'll eat but stay away from the onions.
