Been to Skegness Butlins for the last 6 years, but we dont just stay on the camp,we go fantasy island which has a massive outdoor market and a funfair,we also go into Skegness town which is also quite good,at the fair you can get a wristband that lasts from 11.00am till 6.00pm,so you just keep going on the rides it saves a fortune in money,we enjoy going Skegness every year as we have 2 kids, some people like it some dont, everyones entitled to there opinion though.

Went camping in Chapel St Leonards couple of weeks ago and went Skeggy for the day. Few years since I've been. Beach was great although was raining so didn't stay on it. The kids had a fantastic time - Seal Sanctuary, some pirates play area on pier and cost me a fortune on the 2p machines. Entertainment wise very very good. This is prob gonna come out really wrong and I apologise now, but it was absolutely full of the most scuttiest people I have ever come accross. Some of the people looked like they would beat u up if u so much as walked near them and most of the kids I saw knew every swear word there is. A lot of people seemed to need a good wash as well and spent most of the time screaming and swearing at their kids while they're kids were beating the **** out of another. I probably just went at the wrong time of year!

The best thing about Skegness is the open top buses, the beach, the donkeys and the train station (to get back home).

I went to the butlins there last year and i really enjoyed it!
I was so happy on complex coz i could act like the big kid i was!
But we only went into Skegness once and the weather was horrible so we couldn't enjoy it that much!
But good on you liking it that much! i was just the same!
Esp after going to the seal sanctuary i loved it in there and wanted to take a seal home with me!!!

I went many years ago and had a good time. I really liked seeing the North Sea. Got sick on an improperly operated ride though. Did the whole tourist thing. Was with my girlfriend at the time. Got candy from a candy shoppe and all. It was June, not warm. Froze my *** off, we have warmer summers in Canada.

I enjoyed it in the 1950s when I was a child and we went there for our annual holiday. Mind you, when my father bought a car in 1956 we started going to Devon and later Cornwall instead. As a retired person I fancy using my Old Fogey's Railcard to spend an hour or two there for old times sake, but I haven't yet got round to it. Perhaps that's damning with faint praise.

I love Skeggy. The beach, pier, arcades, ice cream, riding donkeys, fish and chips. There's more to do than some people think there is. There should be an aquarium there, though.
