I would have to say now one knows because there are so many people with families of like 20 something but it has to be in the billions b/c so many places are already over populated. Like Japan and New York are way over populated. I hope that people realize the more people there more people are going to die when something like a tsunami hits New York and California breaks off because of a earthquake that is so massive and has so much power.

I believe you mean 'entire' population...as of 25 of February 2006 there were 6.5 billion people in the world. The largest population is in China with 1,315,844,000 people, the u.s. is in third place with 298,213,000 people

I watched a 20/20 Special report a couple of days ago, about how the world might possibly end, and they said that there are 6.6 billion people in the entire world.

Over 6 billion. They say that if we hit 9 billion without finding a way to live in space, we are so screwed. Apparently that is when our natural resources run out.
