I have been seperated for 4 months and having problems for 2 years. My husband absolutly refuses to go to marriage counseling and is a very heavy drinker. We have some issues which I am sure I could do better on but whenever we talk he just keeps blaming me for everything. He knows I have had a few dates and is very angry but does nothing to make any changes.

divorce him then your free if you find someone you like its a big mess , and i have to disagree with staying for the kids my parents did and it was a miserable place to grow up. you have to do whats right for you period . your husband has shown you whats importan to him

Why not end one relationship before you start a new one. Your husband has a right to be angry if you are with other men. Get a divorce, cheating is cheating even if he is a no good piece of crap.

go out but dont have sex cause u will be cheating him no matter haow bad a husband he was or rather is he is still ur hubby. no one can stop u from socializing but be friends until u know for sure he has no moral or legal right on u. best of luck

I don't see why not, your not with him. But don't get upset if you see him with someone else. But ask your self a question do you love him and do you think that you all will get back together. And if you think about that, you might want to wait before seeing someone else. If you fall fast you should think before you leap.

Divorce, then date. That is if you do not have kids. If you have kids, they are priority and whaen they turn 18, you should date.
