I am currently in partial hospitalization. It is extremely helpful. You actually learn stress coping skills, see a psychiatrist often, and talk with a therapist daily. It is so much better than inpatient where you are watched mostly instead of given treatment. It is a very structured day. I do agree that when I am discharged it will be difficult at first. However, they will decrease the days you are there gradually.

my mom thought it was helpful, but once she was done with the program....she had to much freedom, and went right back to it. i would like to recommend in-patient instead. gl
