when I do darker colors in the salon I've found that color removes color - when shampooing color out, with cool water, before the color is all rinsed out, take a bit of the hair near the front hairline and gently massage it on the color that has gotten onto the skin, and VOILA, the color is gone! I have heard from other stylists that cigarette ash also works, but have not tried it. Good luck!

take the remaining color in your bottle or bowl, add 2 or 3 ozs. of shampoo, mix and apply on colored area.rub in for a few mins., rinse with tepid water,and poof color gone.note: may need 2nd appl. Let me know your non-colorful results

If you just wash it, it should come off. Use shampoo and scrub. It will fade.

cigarette ash works best.scrub on the area thats dyed.
