The devil is the flesh, and its uncontrolled desires. nothing more nothing less.
To believe that the devil was a fallen angel in heaven is to believe God was decieved by what he created. It also to believe, God did not know what to expect, and was lacking the insight to know that the angel will become the devil which would be his apponent. And saying that is to take power away from the All Powerful, Creator of all,God !

it never talks about satans challenge to god and his downfall either, but christians accept it as an absolute truth. however, if someone of another religion uses the same logic to defend their religion, it's mythology.
