Some of the Christians I know that are planning on going to heaven with I don't want to be around. I'm skipping out on a friend's wedding later this month because a mutual Christian friend is a lying, backstabbing, vindictive, evil beeeeottch. So if I'm willing to skip out on my friend's wedding, I'd consider going to hell. At least it'll be sincere.

I did some research in the Bible, and if you take what it says to be true, then this is the best answer I can give you:
"At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven." - Matthew 22:30
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." - Revelation 21:4
"Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life." - Revelation 21:27
From those passages I would assume that Heaven is to be perfect, there will be no marraige (which will negate a lot of the arguing and bickering, HA HA), there will be fellowship of everyone there, and there will be no more lies and deceit, no more sorrow... I can't wait.

After we die, God will purify us so that we can no longer be tempted to sin at all--it would no longer be a "temptation" even if somebody were to try. Jesus alludes to this perfection in heaven when he talks about John the Baptist. He said that no one had ever "risen greater than John the Baptist; yet he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." (Matt. 11:11)--the people in heaven have already been purified as so at that moment were even greater than John the Baptist.

Heaven is paradise. We will see Jesus face to face, will spend our time worshiping God, singing praises and walking down streets of gold. There will be no fighting or jealousy because of it being perfect.

The only way to properly answer a scriptural question is with scripture. According to Isaiah 11:10, "The lion will lay down with the lamb..." (That says it all, unless you want to turn that into some really warped sexual thing.) Enemies will be friends and won't attack one another. Predators and prey will cease killing and being killed.

i am told that these emotions are physical traits and that they are the first things we learn to let go of in spirit
there will be no more negative emotions , no jealousy or fights
there will be no reason to have any of these as we learn how our actions affect others , we would be less likely to want to put upon people what we would not wish put upon our self

Of course not. Read your bible. There will be no more tears or pain.
By the way, that's not the way to live your life on earth either.
