Arghhh...fire ants. They've gotten me so many times!

I use a few things: toothpaste can work (not the gel type), Benadryl is also good and so is Aveno oatmeal wash.

It will probably form a pustule...it won't look pretty. The best advice is to avoid the fire ants and keep their mounds under control.

Use alcohol or get a sting relief pen. It looks like a pen but it has a cloth tip and alcohol to help the stinging. But really anything that has alcohol in it works great. Also, ice works great to help with the stinging and burning. When it starts itching, use hydrocortizone or Benedryl anti-itch cream.

topical vitamin E... it is a natural healer for the skin also mix w/ vitamin C crystals (powder) if you can find it. Oral vitamin E can also help but it will help the skin healing process of skin more topically, just buy the pills, get natural not synthetic E (d-alpha not dl-alpha, also if it doesn't say odd are it is synthetic) and poke them open w/ a needle.
