San Fransisco is nice and some parts of LA are OK. LA has nice surrounding areas like Santa Barbara, San Diego, and Santa Monica.

But I live in Manhattan and gotta go with that. I love it here. Its not as dangerous as people think, and never ever boring. The people here are great and its great because there are so many parts and neighborhoods to it that all have a personality of their own.

For all three of these cities though you need money to live comfortably.
