She seems to be a bit under the weather. Would it be best to wait 'til it's over? I'm afraid she could catch a cold. Sure would appreciate your thoughts and ideas. Thanks!

Yeah you can, just keep her warm until she drys. I usually put a towel in the dryer for a few minutes and then wrap her in it and lay on the couch with her for a half hour til she drys. The warm towel helps her dry faster too

She will be fine, my pup is on her FIRST heat but I am thinking of giving her a bath, it depends on there mood, if they are snappy and crankky, just get a wet towel and wipe her girl area and amke sure to keep that part clean at least, let her sleep when she wants, ALWAYS keep water out for her to. why would her heat cycle affect her health? If you've been bathing her since she was small i don't see the difference, at least with mares there's no diference.
