I'm 17, and i really like this girl in my class. The problem is that we're really good friends. I'm worried that if i ask her out, and she says no, things will be awkward between us. I'd love to be in a relationship with her, but i just really dont want to lose her as a friend. Why risk it, you know? She'll probably just say no anyway.

before you ask her out, you need to see if she is interested in you. You need to start flirting and see how that works. Even become her friend first. Do not just go straight out and ask her. You may end up scaring her and she will not say yes.

I have the same problem as you, and the girl will always say lets still be friends, but it is akward.. for the guy that is.. -.- well any ways, your not alone, and just try spending more time with her out of school, and after awhile just say something like i really like you, and ask her out.

Go with your heart! The worst thing that will happen is her saying no! Maybe deep down inside she really likes you too.
Ask her! Ask if she wants to go for a soda or lunch so you and her can talk! Tell her how you feel!

hey i think you should, but dont really push it on her just start asking if she wants to hang out or go somewhere and then eventually ask her if she does like you back after a while but if she says no just respect her answer and continue to be friends if you can

I think you should sit down with her and ask her in a joking way if she ever thought about going steady... If she says no then just leave it... if she says yea then ask her if she is still exploring that thought. If she says no then change the subject... if she says yea then let her know how you feel

look she might like you to, and is going through the same thing. i would just ask her and enen if she says no, it might be cause she don't won't to ruin your friendship.
