Germany has had some impact, yet no longer remotely as lots because of the fact the Brits. This has to do, first, with the actuality that we initially have been British, and so even after booting them out, we saved close cultural ties (that have progressed into the main useful alliance in all the international). 2nd, what impact the Germans could have made became squandered while their united states of america desperate to attempt to overcome the international... two times. We had to overcome them down the two cases, so as that they have been the common enemy contained in the international two times in merely the previous century - and since the era that defeated them the 2nd time around continues to be widely alive, the impact is dwindled.

Start by getting a passport--you can't leave your country without one in most cases. Never having immigrated, I'm not sure what all the processes are, but I would find the US Department of Immigration's website (it'll be called something like that, anyway) and look up what they require. Also, make sure your home country doesn't have any requirements for leaving (I don't think Germany does, but I could be wrong).
Good luck and it'll be nice to have you here!

A little English lesson first.
You emigrate to another country, but immigrate from your country. English is a crazy language, so don't worry about it.
As I remember - all Germans must have passports. It is your national ID card - right?
You must have a USA sponsor to emigrate to USA. Check with the US Embassy or Consulate for correct regulations and procedures.
If you just wish to visit (Disney Land ZB) for a few weeks, your travel agent can set you up easily.

It takes time, study and money...just like any other country!
I lived in Heidelberg for 4 years, and I had a residence permit stamped in my passport. My x-husband had a work permit and a residence permit.
Thanks for the interest. I believe this is the greatest country on earth. We are the most criticized, so great but yet so disliked, oh well, get ready for that too!

Pech gehabt, man. In der Greencard Lotterie gibt es fast keine Chance. 2500 Deutchen kommen jährlich so hier.
