For example, you know the water may be cold, but unless you touch the water, only then you realize how cold the water is. There is a difference between knowing and realizing. Everytime someone dies people always ask questions like "why did this happen" or "if God is real why is he letting this happen to me" But think about it, If there was no suffering there also would be no compassion.
