I mean like should I start thinking about it when im in highschool, middleschool, or right after my graduation.

You need to start in probably the 9th grade as you need to take the courses in high school that will get you through college.

Since you are 5... okay really when you are in 7 or 8 grade... Tell your parents that you want to start saving for college if you dont get a grant... Get good grades .. Be involve.. And also go see what colleges you might be interesting in attending..... And when you are in high school if you have free time.. take a college course or two... Good Luck..

Keep it in the back of your mind through high school--your GPA will matter. For the most part, though, you don't need to worry about it until your junior year, and even then, most places wont' let you apply more than a year in advance, anyway. You should worry about it before graduation, though, unless you plan on taking a year off.
