They could be, but from what I've heard, it is a very natural setting.
When we want to go somewhere, we just think it.
We can go anywhere in the universe, and I've also heard that we have these hovercrafts too, just for the fun of it.
We have an eternity to do everything, so, there's really not rush.

If they were, man would have found a way to plunder it. Maybe a way to spend millions to go after it, or bribe a few angels to smuggle it out and in return, the angels could pass up that angel food, have pizza, a few kegs and PARTAY!
