My bf and my ex bf got in a fight because my ex said i was stupid for going out with my bf. Now me and my ex are friends again and everything is fine, except my bf still hates him. Me and my best friend are going to hang out with my ex next weekend, because me and him have been good friends for a long time, but my bf said it's not a good idea for me to go. He said it's not that he doesn't trust me, but that he doesn't trust my ex. I want to go hang out with my ex though. What are your opinions?

I don't see any problem hanging with my ex since we are such good friends. I kind of feel as though maybe my bf doesn't trust me, but I don't know because he said he does. But how could he trust me but not want me to hang out with someone because he doesn't trust him? I think I can take care of myself...

by the sounds of it your x is one jelous man!!! i wouldnt trust him eather.its not fair on your bf eather and iof you do meet your x your heading for a break up.your current boyfriend sounds good dont let him get away.you woildnt like him to meet up with him x.good luck

If you want to be with your bf and still be friends with your ex, both will need to make amends. If not, you'll continue to be pulled from both ends and your bf will begin to feel betrayed and insecure. If u don't have feelings for your ex, you should tell him how you feel about your bf and u want to hang with both of them. Possibly invite your bf to hang out next weekend too. If you do have feelings for your ex, u have a serious dilemma that should be addressed. A man's feelings are just as vulnerable as ours(if not more), so don't try to be a player and end up getting played! Good Luck!

Answer this question honestly, how would you feel if your boyfriend hung out with his ex-girlfriend?
To be honest, I find it disrespectful that you hang out with your ex knowing that your current boyfriend doesn't like it. I understand that you and the ex have been friends and that's fine but be friends from a far. Think about it, you all have a past connection and he very well may be still attracted to you. Your ex maybe doing this to get even with your current boyfriend. My suggestion is, if you are interested in keeping your new boyfriend around and you care and love him, you would stop hanging out with your ex.

u shud be able to hang out with ur ex if he is just ur friend... but maybe u shud invite ur bf too just so he knows ur not gonna sneak up and cheat on him....he will trust u more and next time u hang out with ur ex dont tell ur bf!

I wouldn't trust your ex either if he didn't like your boy friend. Something tells me he wouldn't hesitate to do something to hurt him, using you if need be.
