So people sin and then they can ask this "God" for forgiveness? Is that correct? So if I lied or said something hateful to someone, I could ask this "God" for to forgive me and he would, right? And if I do this, I can go to this place I hear called "Heaven" when I die and it's supposed to be a place full of happiness and such, right? While if I don't, I'll go to this place "Hell" and suffer for all eternity, right?

So tell me, why should I want to go to this "Heaven" when it's full of people who were murderers and rapists? The prison population is incredibly religious and they have their sins forgiven. Even if they are given the death penalty, they see a preacher and are also able to ask this "God" to forgive his/her sins anytime he/she wants.

So why should I want to be surrounded by these murderers and rapists for all eternity?

there is a fallacy surrounding your argument on the condition that if criminals were to ask for forgiveness, they would automatically be in heaven, and they would continue their evil ways there.
when a person asks for forgiveness, he is repentant, right?
when you look up the word repentance in the dictionary it means "regret for the past action". if you regret doing something, then you wouldn't want to do that same thing again, right?
two scenarios here:
1. if a criminal asks for forgiveness but didn't really mean it, meaning he doesn't care if he does it over and over again in the future, then his repentance is not legit. if he is not legit, then what makes you think he'll be in heaven?
2. if a criminal is truly repentant of his wrongdoings, then he won't commit those things anymore, which for argument's sake, would technically make him worthy of a spot in heaven compared to the criminal listed in #1, all things being equal.
(one thing worth mentioning is that no preacher has the last say wether a man is forgiven or not)
Therefore, with the argument i posted, when you see repentant criminals in heaven, they are criminals no more.
Makes sense?

The God that you refer to is a loving and forgiving God. There are lots of things that we don't forgive someone of, but God gives us forgiveness unconditionally. As for who is there in "heaven" anyone who accepts God's forgiveness after confessing their need for Him is heaven bound. There may be people just like you mentioned there but it will be because they realized their sin and confessed and asked forgiveness..He doesn't specify what sins can be forgiven and what sins can't.. Before you knock it, try it and see if you aren't a better person for coming to God.

Hi Toronto

Your question is mute. John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

No one is in heaven, no one is going to heaven.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Where will they reign????

Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

That is correct, on earth.

Jam 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Did you notice? If you lie,as you sugested, you ae guilty of the entire law. You are no better, no worse than the murderers and rapists,or the prison population of which you speak.

Also, there is no ever burning hell with suffering for all eternity.
The English word hell is written 23 times in the New Testament King James version. It is translated 11 time from the Greek word hades {hah'-dace} which means grave.
It is translated 12 times from the greek word geenna {gheh'-en-nah} which should have been rendered "Gehenna" or "Gehenna of fire". ". This was originally the valley of Hinnom, south of Jerusalem, where the filth and dead animals of the city were cast out and burned; a fit symbol of the wicked and their future destruction.
It is the place of the future punishment of those that will not enter into the Kingdom of God. A one time punishment not an eternial punishing.

An Italian Florentine poet, Durante degli Alighieri, better known as Dante Alighieri or just Dante, June 1, 1265 – September 13/14, 132, created the idea of the hell that is taught to the world. Through his stage play la Divina Commedia (The Divine Comedy) the whole world has been and is being decived about a place that does not exist nor will it ever come into being.. The Divine Comedy describes Dante's journey through Hell (Inferno), Purgatory (Purgatorio), and Paradise (Paradiso). It was only a play, the works of the imagination of a man. However the Roman Catholic Church took the idea and ran with it and has long since convinced an unsuspecting world that
the writings of Dante are indeed an acurate rendition of a place of eternal punishing of all evil people. God is in total disagreement with the Catholic Church and all other that preach and teach that there is an ever burning hell, a place of eternal punishing, a place where the evil go after death.

Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day is coming, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yes, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day thats coming shall burn them up, say's the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
Malachi 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and you shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
Malachi 4:3 And you shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, say's the LORD of hosts.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Ok Toronto, this is the last two, although there are many more truths you should learn about. You have been lied to all your life. Don't believe anyone, that includes me. Believe the Bible.

Jesus was not born in the month of December. Check this out. Jesus was killed in the month of April, He was 33 and 1/2 years of age. Count until He would have been 34 years of age.
Those that lie to you each year, tell you that Jesus was killed and placed in the tomb just prior to sunset on a Friday. (They call it Good Friday.) They also tell you that he rose from the tomb early Sunday morning just before sunrise. That is two nights and one day. Jesus told us. Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Don't believe anyone.

Good question and one that I have never seen satisfactorily answered. Perhaps if you aren't able to live with murderers and rapists it would best to go to the other place.

duhh ill be right back and bring a bible and prove you wrong with some quote...

It's no use, mate. People have been brainwashed back when they were kids, and they can't deny all this "God" crap. It'll be a big waste of time proving people wrong and/or converting them.

I'm pretty sure murdering and raping aren't huge pastimes in heaven...what do you think goes on in hell though, if that's your idea of heaven? I'm curious.
