my friends called me frigid, are they right?

on holiday cos i wouldnt sleep around like my friends they said i was being frigid, but one said i wasnt i just didnt want to be used, like them. so whats worse being frigid or being a slapper it seems you cant do anything without being labeled!

You're right, it's too easy to label people nowadays, and so many of us do it. Why worry about what your 'friends' say. They are foolish for a) putting it about and b) slagging you off for not putting it about.
I don't think you're frigid at all, just a sensible person - shame there aren't more like you!

You don't sound frigid to me, just sensible. You're friends sound like slappers who are going to come home with diseases. They can't be considered real friends if they treat you such a way. I'm 34 & would much rather be known as frigid than a slapper. Stick to your own beliefs.

You were *not* being frigid and in the long term your friends are more likely to regret how they behaved. Good friends would respect your choice, especially when it was a sensible one, as it sounds like you made - so ignore them. Being a slapper is worse.

I think it is better to be called frigid than a slapper - at least you have self respect.

As to your last comment everyone gets called something even the most beautiful people...fat....thin.....ugly.....normally it's people that are not happy with themselves.

Thats really horrible, and it deffinately doesn't make you frigid. Being a slapper is much much worse, just because you don't think it's right to sleep with random people doesnt mean you're scared to do sex or anything. You were right, your friends were just being insecure knowing you were right probably.

Sleeping around vs being frigid? Okay, how about whoring around vs using common sense? How about being a **** as opposed to being respectable? Nobody, but nobody, respects a ****.

Being frigid is when you never what any physical attention, even when you're in a good relationship.

Being normal is when you do want physical attention but you don't get any because you're not currently in a good relationship.

Being a slapper is when you want physical attention and you don't care where you get it.... which makes it harder for those people to get into normal relationships.

for a start friends don't call each other names. if you think they are slappers then you are being as judgemental as they are and you are probably attracted to judgemental people. friends accept you as you are and what makes you happy. frigid is a matter of opinion but were you criticising them?

Sex is more than a decision you would need to make over a summer. Sex is meant for marriage as it is a powerful union of lives, not just bodies, especially for us girls. You really are giving your heart when you give your body. I am proud of you for choosing differently. Don't be afraid to be labeled. I know that can hurt but these girls have no idea what they are doing or talking about. They only want you to join them because they feel bad about what they have done. If they don't regret what they have done they will someday.
