I have a 7 year old female named Bell her full name is Christmas Bell because she was born on Christmas eve! She is the sweetest most lovable dog I have ever owned! her and my chi/yorkie mix talk to one another I swear!!! Bell will only work for marshmallows lol. She is excellent with children and my grandchildren fall asleep on her. They are hair balls though. You can brush till your arms are hurting and there will still be more hair. Do not expect to have a hairless house , car, or yard if you own one of these beauties but they are so worth it. They are clowns and constantly entertaining. If you can tolerate the hair this is the perfect dog!

I have two, Erwin and Sarah. I got them as rescued dogs from an organization called "Golden Retrievers In Need". They are my 2nd and 3rd goldens (my last golden [O.B.] lived 15-1/2 years!). They had issues when I got them because of abuse by previous owners but after a year and a half they are very loving and devoted. They just needed to be loved. I maintain that there is NO better family dog (they absolutely love children!), and NO better companion. They just LOVE and want to be LOVED. One problem though: your house will be full of very fine fur balls when they shed. Otherwise they are PERFECT pets.

I had a Golden Retriever/Collie mix and he was one of the most loveable dogs I ever had.

I do, her name's Holly and she lives in the house with us. She's 3 and she thinks she's the mother to our kittens ^_^
