The salary/remuneration for a particular job is the market value for a particular profession and designation at the city/town where the office is located. Job postings at websites like Monster, Yahoo HotJobs and Careerbuilder carry information about salaries. The Govt Dept of Labor, (www.bls.gov) Bureau of statistics has information about median salaries for different professions and details of additional compensation offered. Other online resources are salary.com and payscale. Your salary will also depend on your educational qualification and how you handle your career. depends on your talent and the style of work you do and the way you handle clients and the amount of money the client is spending to construct the house.it could be in the form of a lumpsum amount or it could range from 5%-10% of the total building cost involved.if you are talking about working under an established arch as a junior it could be in the range of $1800-2000 per month

when my step father was an archietect. He made an average of $20,000 off of every home he designed. The is a lot of work that go in to that profession. You have details and windstorm (luckily you can use the same "details" for every home), blue prints, surveys of the property, etc. it's not an easy job but it pays well.
