try offering to help pay part of the price by getting yourself a part time job, or if that is not possible offer to do jobs for them as a set rate of pay, or suggest you do without other things they pay for, for you until the trailer is paid for. On the other hand do you know if your parents can afford to pay for such an expnsive item, the main thing is sit down and talk with them quietly and get your facts together first e.g the exact price of the trailer. Hope this helps

well, horse trailers are very expensive as im sure you know. your parents may not want to spend an additional 5 grand on buying you a horse trailer, i wouldnt either! Do you have any friends who ride that would let you borrow their trailer for a day? Do you ride at a stable that has trailers you could borrow? could you rent one? also, why do you need a 2-3 horse trailer, just get a 1-2 horse trailer if you only have one horse....
