If the cat will eat, try to get it to eat boiled rice with a little chicken broth. Vet has recommeded that to me when I bring stange cats home until they get used to food or environment change. The biggest thing though is to get the cat to drink as much water as possible (1) to keep her hydrated (2) to flush out anything simple that might not agree with her (3) so you can tell if she unrinates in a her usual pattern. You didn't say if this has been going on long, or , if it has happened in the past. She may just need to rest from it and get herself back on track.

only give him water and dry cat food. nothing else, because it could only trigger this diarrhea more. but it could also be the kind of cat food you are giving this cat and he also might have worms. have you wormed your cat lately? you should either take the cat to the vet as soon as possible or call and ask what you can do at home to take care of your own cat. but i would suggest to go buy some liquid cat wormer and try that in some of its food if you think it could be worms. your cat might also be sick (have a type of cat cancer that is very common) you should call your vet and explain the cats symptoms and ask what they think. i hope your cat gets better soon. good luck. but im almost possitive that your cat has worms. (your local grocery store or walmart should have cat wormers you can buy for your cat and give it to it at home for alot less than taking it to the vet. but call the vet and explain the symptoms too.)

Take him to the vet, something is definitely wrong.
My kitten had coccidia when I first brought her home, but the vet's meds and aloe gel helped that situation. She had diarrhea (sometimes bloody) and although she didn't vomit, her brother did. It's not a severe condition, but the parasites can damage the intestinal walls if not taken care of.
Good luck!

give him dry food only and do not...give any milk..contrary to what people think milk is not good for cats except for once in awhile as maybe a small treat.make sure he is wormed if he does not improve within 24-48 hours see a vet, make sure he has plenty of clean water as you do not want him to get dehydrated. also a little chicken broth would be good ...there can be several different things going on so please watch him closely and get him to the vet if things do not get better within 24-48 hrs....he may need antibiotics or other treatment...

There's a good chance the food isn't agreeing with your cat. Take the advice of others and try changing to a different food. Just make sure you intorduce the new food gradually, otherwise you could make his upset stomach worse.

a lot of possibles... might be the food if you just got a differnet kind or a new bag of the usual food.
Could be an intestinal obstruction or parasites/worms.
Call the vet, save a sample of the poop for the vet to check under a microscope.

Take him to the vet! There could be many reasons this is happening and it needs the immediate attention of a trained professional.
It could a upper respiratory infection, or a blockage of some sort.

try changing the food. the same thing happened to my dog and when we changed the food he was fine. you can also try seeing if your cat is eating or doing something new. it could be effecting it.
