my hair wont stay in a curl for more that a half an hour i have tried everything like hot roller gel moose regular curlars curling iron,but my hair will still go straight.

It sounds like you have very fine and very straight hair. My mom has the same problem. Try some of the following:
1) A perm.
2) Getting a cut which encourages your hair to be more bouncy.
3) Loving your beautiful straight hair. There are women out there who would kill for your hair.

One, if you get a perm, the curl will hold longer.
Two, if you cut your hair so the length doesn't weigh it down and pull out the curl, it will hold longer.
Three, if you put in mousse while the hair is wet. Then let the hair air dry before using an iron or curlers. And spray you hair with a super hairspray like (Rave, AquaNet, Suave: Professional) before you put in the curlers or use the iron, that will also help your curl hold longer.
PS I mentioned letting the hair air dry because with my hair when I blow dry it, it tends to straighten and lose body. I know most hair dressers will tell you different, but they have time constaints and can't wait for your hair to air dry in the salon. From my experience if you want volume, and curl to stay, you should not blow dry. And don't comb it when wet. Let it air dry mussy. Then carefully pick it through before you apply curlers or use an iron.

your hair needs body and volume go to the store and buy VO5 shampoo and conditioner they have one for body and get another one for volume then bolw dry do not put anything in it such as gel and moose instead you can apply a little hairspray right on the hair before to curl it and that should help you. This the fastest and cheapest way to help. I hope that I have helped you.

well after you have curled ur hair try to use some hair spray or moose like the whipped air one from VO5 that is really cool..mine used to come out aswell by the time i get out lol so see how it goes ..

hot curlers, leave them in for 30-45 mins, while their in spray hair spray on your hair, then as you take them out one by one spray each individual curl with hair spray then when your hair is completely down take a very soft brush && brush it VERY lightly.
or get it professionally done.
