False, A sword for a Christian is having the Bible in his/her *heart.*

"For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

If it works for you! I would rather have something with a little more functionality!

The bible and a Christian sometimes is like a layman trying to be a doctor, and it does cut, when used wrong, especially judgmentally! It seems the Christian Right , and others, always want to lay THEIR morality on others, which they have no right to do!

If God gave man choice, it wasn't the choice of those who misinterpret the Bible and try and play God!

False - a Christian must know the words of GOD in the heart. Jesus had demonstrated how to apply the words of GOD during his life time.

When Satan temp him in the desert, he used the words of GOD to fight against Satan.

But I feel that we Christian pull out our sword at the wrong time. For example like pulling sword out against is good advice.

I agree to disagree. Holding the bible doesn't mean you know the bible, anyone can do that. But knowing the scriptures in the bible is far more important. know the word and it shall set you free.

T and F-- Holding the word of God in your hand will not help you, but knowing the word of God will. Eph. 6:17 will tell you that the sword is the word of God, but holding it is not enough. When Jesus went aganist satan in the dessert He didnt hold the bible in his hand but quoted scriptures to satan. Thats the best defence we have aganist satan is to know God's word.
